1. About Planetraders

Planetraders is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of light aircraft in the United Kingdom. Planetraders is operated by [TODO: MGC Systems Ltd], registered in England and Wales (company number: [TODO]).

Planetraders acts solely as a platform — we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, certify, or guarantee any aircraft listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Planetraders. By creating an account, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding agreements.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and current information when registering
• You must not create multiple accounts or share account access
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Listing Rules

When creating a listing, you agree that:

• The aircraft must be real and currently exist
• The aircraft must be located in, or available for sale in, the United Kingdom
• All information provided (specifications, hours, registration, price) must be accurate and not misleading
• You must have the legal right to sell the aircraft or be authorised to list it
• Photographs must be of the actual aircraft being listed
• Listings must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
• Use the platform for money laundering, scams, or other illegal activity
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without permission
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the platform
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions

6. Fees and Payments

Basic listings on Planetraders may be free. Premium features (featured placement, extended visibility) may require payment via Stripe. All prices are listed in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Refund policies for paid features are detailed at the point of purchase.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planetraders and its operators shall not be liable for:

• The accuracy, legality, or airworthiness of any listed aircraft
• Any loss or damage arising from transactions between users
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
• Service interruptions or data loss

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Intellectual Property

The Planetraders name, logo, design, and software are the property of [TODO: MGC Systems Ltd]. You retain ownership of content you upload (photographs, descriptions) but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these terms, post fraudulent content, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to resolve disputes directly. If you have a complaint about the platform, contact us at [TODO: support@planetraders.co.uk]. We will endeavour to respond within 14 days.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
